We are all born into this world without knowing what tomorrow will bring. If you are born into poverty, some men and women think that you will die in poverty. It is only with a change of mind will that become something different. We live in a world of unpredictability. You may have $10,000 in your bank account today and then have it taken away from you because of an unexpected bill that comes in. Perhaps a hospital bill. Money has proved to be unpredictable. The only sure things that we have in our existence is our relationship with God. That will always be there because God will always love us. It is important to create a daily habit of praying, reading the Holy Bible and asking Jesus to forgive your sins. It is important to always look at your life and realize that you can change your circumstances no matter what they can be. Do We Leave Destiny Up To Luck Or Make A Plan? How Can You Change Your Destiny? To change your destiny, you are going to need a plan. I often hear people say that they want to have a lot of money. They often tell me that they want to be rich. However, they have no job skill that can make them wealth. In fact, they want to hope and pray that money just falls into their hands somehow. It is like asking the universe to make you hit the lottery someday. This is not having a good plan for your destiny. To plan, you need to figure out how you are going to earn money. You must set realistic goals and work your way up. For instance, if your take home salary right now is $20,000.00 a year, your goal may be to bring yourself into a salary that will be $40,000.00. This means that you are going to have to find a job skill that will pay you $40,000.00 a year. You will need to earn around $180.00 per day for this to happen. There are a lot of jobs that will pay you $40,000.00 a year with the right skills. As you do this, you learn how to put knowledge into your mind. You learn that anything is possible. You begin to build confidence in yourself that you can earn this kind of salary. After you make your first $40,000.00, you need to set the next goal. Your next goal may be to earn $60,000.00 a year. Once again, you must find work that will pay you this kind of money per year. However, do you have the right job skills to earn you this kind of money? Do you have a criminal record? Is there anything in your background that would raise a red flag to a potential employer? If you have a criminal record or something in your background that you know could prevent you from getting ahead, you only have one solution. You are going to have to learn to work for yourself. There is no other way to get rich if you will not work for yourself. You will run into this problem for the rest of your life because business owners are often judgmental and often will not give you a second chance at life. What Is Your Life Long Plan? Look at your success face to face and see if you can complete the plan that you create. You can call this your 5-year plan. In 5 years, what is it that you hope to accomplish? How are you going to be there? It is not about getting there fast, but about getting their period. If you know that you are not good at studying and reading books, you probably will not make a good doctor or lawyer. People that hate school often are better entrepreneurs. It is better for you to start thinking about working for yourself. Of course, you may have to work for someone else full time to get to your next level in life. This will take time and energy. Success will not happen for you overnight. It is important for you to take your time and work hard. Will Fate Choose Your Life Partner? Many people that start businesses do not think about the long hours that it will take to earn good money. Before starting a business, you may think that you are going to work a traditional 8-hour shift and then go home. However, you will come to realize that you now must put in 12 to 14-hour days. You are often the one-man band in your company. You are the CEO and the delivery driver at the same time. Most people will fail at success because they would rather hang out with their friends and party instead of working. This is often popular with people in the age groups of 18 to 30. You may see work as a pain in the neck. You basically earn money and then go home. Afterwards, you want to hang out with your friends or surf the internet. How Can You Shift Your Mind? You need to shift your mind by doing what you need to do according to the 5-year plan that you wrote out. If you do not follow your own plan, you will most likely fail. Never go off track. People will often bail out of their goals when the going gets tough. You may say that you want to be a mobile mechanic. However, when your telephone does not start ringing, you give up and say that you are going to work for a mechanic shop for $12.50 an hour. You went off your goal because you did not sit down and think of a way to get your phone ringing with customers. Good entrepreneurs would take this situation and realize that it is a marketing issue. Instead of saying that you failed, they say that I must market more. We often think that just because we put in 30 years in a company, the world somehow cannot take away our pension. You may think that you deserve to find another job that will pay you the same amount of money that you were making before. However, in life, there is no guarantees. Nobody owes you anything. Nobody cares what you did yesterday because only today matters. It is important to look at your own destiny and realize that you are in full control. Nobody can control you but yourself. Life has new beginnings each day that we wake up. However, most people see their life as the same everyday because they have no plan for the next day. Most men and women wake up with only future and no plan of execution on how they are going to get there. Jesus said that you need to have faith and pray to God for what you want. Jesus told us that if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move a mountain. Jesus taught a lot on faith and believing in something that has not happened yet. It is putting your full heart and soul into something that you believe in. With God all things are possible as the Holy Bible tells us. Are You Will Change Your Destiny With Hard Work? If you are afraid of hard work, you will never reach your destiny in love, money, career, or anything that you do. You may have to reach out to other people to teach you how to get to the next level of your life. You may think that you have it all in the palms of your hands. However, you may find that you hit a wall and do not know how to break though it. Let us look at another example. Let us say that you had a dream for landing the perfect lover. You pray and ask God to put the right person in your path. When they come into your life, you know that your prayer has been answered. However, when the two of you have a disagreement about something, you want to bail out of the relationship because you do not like confrontation. However, you can either walk through life switching partners every single time a problem arises, or you can realize that you must deal with what you got. Today, relationship hopping is all to common. We are living in a day in age where men and women would rather hop to another person to not have to deal with their lovers’ behavior at times. Most people cannot hold onto their marriages for over 5 years. A lot of people break up over silly reasons that could have been handled in a different way. What You Were In The Past Is Not Who You Are Now I have seen destinies destroyed because of people not willing to go through the hard times. Yes, it will take hard work to get you to a level in which you can get exactly what you want. Dealing with people, money and business is never easy. It is work. Sometimes, work requires you to have more patience or to accept the fact that what you had hoped for is not going to happen without pain. There are challenges that you will go through every step of your life. These challenges will help you to realize that you have what it takes to move things ahead. Find ways to build success. The one thing that you will learn in life is that successful people will never tell you the complete story of how they really got to the successful place that they are in. This is because most successful people do not want to give away their success secrets. They will often tell you that they had it hard growing up or that they got sick and their job fired them. However, they managed to build a successful business after that. You are not the person that you wish to be like. You cannot compare yourself to Oprah or Tony Robbins. You cannot say that I want to be the next David Copperfield. You need to look at yourself and say, “What work do I need to do in order to get to the next level of my life?” This is an area of life that takes time, effort, and patience. Every road that took Oprah to where she got in the future is not the same road that you are going to be on. In fact, it is the connections that she made along the way to get her to the place where she could become successful. Please know that nobody that is successful to go their success alone. Life has a lot of challenges in it. Sometimes, we do not understand why God puts us in situations that we often do not like. However, it is up to us to get ourselves into a position in which we can find to be more successful. Working your way up in life is the best way to find success.
